Q2 Matched Play Updates
With the upcoming Labyrinth expansion, the BLKOUT Community Team is excited to roll out matched play updates to expand force-building options and scenario variety. Matched play in BLKOUT remains a streamlined framework—ideal for building forces and running suggested missions at organized events or game nights.

Powers
This update introduces Power Cards—a new type of force card that lets players build forces from a wider range of units across multiple factions. Instead of choosing a traditional force card, players may select a Power Card that grants a set of unified rules and access to otherwise restricted combinations.

Though this group draws from different factions and includes a BLKLIST model, they all benefit from the rules and Armory provided by the Headless Power Card.
Power Cards are intentionally less potent than standard force cards, but they open the door for highly thematic and flexible force-building, ideal for creative list designers.
